Yeah cause the 50 dollar sixaxis controller is so much cheaper. Wanna do 4 player on the ps3, not that there's gonna be any good games to do so, then on top of your 400 and 500 dollar systems... to get as many controllers you would still be adding another 150 dollars. So a wii with 4 controllers = the cheapest ps3 with only one controller and no game. Yay ps3.

You can also have your other friends chip in on buying extra controllers. Thats what I did with the N64, I just had my friends bring their controller with them or asked them to help chip in for a few to buy. Also, just wait a bit and soon there will be 3rd party remotes that are cheaper than the Nintendo made ones. Thats always the case. I usually like 3rd party controllers a bit more actually. Anyhow, controllers for the 360 and ps3 are both 50 bucks, what ten more?

Hell yes!! I got a call from eb games last night reminding me that they are going to hold my wii for 24 hours. It's already paid off, just gotta go pick it tomorrow morning.

Also, I received my wiimote on Wednesday from circuit city. I guess someone there goofed or something because no matter where I go, circuit city store itself, no one is selling the wiimote until tomorrow. Crazy. The damn wiimote is driving me nuts:

Red Steel sucks. Call of Duty 3 is mediocre. Zelda is.. Zelda, but other then that not impressive. Excite Truck looks like a game that I would personally enjoy, but I am apparently in the minority.

Hurray for yet another lame launch lineup.

I agree about Red Steel... too bad... the premise was good.

Call of Duty... well it's older graphics. Plus no online play is stupid.

Excite Trucks... excellent.

And as you said Zelda is... Zelda.

Yeah, theres a lot of mediocrity in that launch lineup but that's nothing new like previously mentioned. At least there is Zelda which will prolly go down as the greatest launch game ever. Xbox360 launch lineup was less then spectacular with pretty much only one good game (call of duty2) and PS3 looks REALLY bad.

I just ran up to Fred Meyer on my break and Wii was completely sold out. The best part was there was a middle aged man that new nothing about the system and asked the Clerk "So whats with this new Nintendo system?"

The Clerks like "Its called the Nintendo GONE."

Good luck to all those hoping to score one of these this year. I think it might be harder then initially reported.

Never underestimate the desire of parents trying to make their kids happy at Xmas.

I really wasnt aware of this. I only read IGNs pretty much rave review (9.5 out of 10).

Interesting though, this game was like 4 years in the making. If it dissapoints it's gonna be like the mighty Casey striking out!

Bela, Im not sure what critics are panning the game.

The game is 97% at gamerankings.com with 7 reviews giving the game 100%.

The very lowest review is 88% and I read that review and its pretty positive.

ratings less than a 95% are rare for this game. many sites and magazines have given it 97 - 100% ratings. I would be interested in reading the comments from these "critics"
